ON THE MOVE FOR CHRIST’S GLORY!

April 2021
We are currently worshipping in-person in-facility at Fairview UMC. We also continue to offer all worship services virtually via Facebook Live at www.facebook.com/FairviewUMCTville. While in attendance in-person in-facility we adhere to safety protocols: including, but not limited to, masking, hand sanitizing, social distancing, and tracking in-person attendance. We are slowly re-starting other gatherings and events as we feel prudent. Stay tuned for more updates and added ministry engagements. Below are our current and upcoming services and ministry opportunities.

On Sunday, April 11th , Fairview UMC will pause from offering in-person in-facility worship, in order to allow our faith community to create some distance from the multiple worship services offered during Holy Week and the next in-person in-facility worship service on Sunday, April 18th.

Therefore, instead of our regular in-person in-facility and virtual worship services offered via Fairview UMC, on Sunday, April 11th we will receive the recorded and broadcast virtual worship service offered by the Western NC Conference of the United Methodist Church.

Daily Devotions:
Daily Devotions will resume Monday, April 12th.

Committee Meetings:
Committee Meetings are scheduled to slowly resume beginning in the month of April. Currently, the Servant Leader Board has scheduled its next meeting for Tuesday, April 27th at 6:00 pm in the fellowship hall of the church.

Sunday School:
Adult Sunday school is scheduled to resume on Sunday, April 18th at 10:00 am in the fellowship hall of the church. Initially, only one combined adult Sunday school class will be offered as we slowly re-start our gatherings and events. As our safety protocols relax, we will offer a more varied selection of Sunday school opportunities, including nursery, children, and youth.

Greetings from Fairview United Methodist Church in Thomasville, North Carolina. We are located conveniently at 2876 Old Greensboro Rd., just east of Davidson County Community College.  We would like to invite you to worship with us each Sunday morning at 11 am in person or via Facebook live.  We also offer both children’s and adult classes for study before service each week.  Those classes start at 10 am.  We look forward to seeing and meeting you this week.

All are welcome!
